Thibaudeau Named to Men's Tennis All-SEC Second Team

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - Alabama junior Mathieu Thibaudeau was selected to the All-SEC Second Team, the league office announced. Thibaudeau is the only Tide player on the 12-man team. The honor is the first conference award for Thibaudeau.
Thibaudeau, a native from St. George's, Quebec, has held an Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) national ranking for most of the season and topped out at No. 88. Thibaudeau is 22-14 overall this season and is 6-3 in the conference at number two singles. In doubles, Thibaudeau and partner Daniel Buikema hold a No. 19 national ranking and were 28-10 overall entering the SEC Tournament. The tandem went 8-2 in SEC play during the regular season with their only two losses coming from ranked teams.
