Alabama-Tennessee Rained Out

KNOXVILLE, Tenn.- The Alabama-Tennessee baseball game scheduled for Friday, April 11 at Lindsey Nelson Stadium in Knoxville has been rained out. The original 7 p.m. (EDT) start time was delayed to 8:30 p.m. (EDT) due to rain the threat of tornadoes in the east Tennessee area Friday afternoon and evening. The game was officially rained out a 9:27 p.m., after three separate delays.
Alabama and Tennessee will play a double header on Saturday, April 12 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. (EDT). The second game will be televised live by SportSouth.
The series opener at Tennessee marks the third straight weekend Alabama has had an SEC game rained out. Alabama and Ole Miss had a suspended game on Saturday, March 29 and Alabama and LSU also had a suspended game on Friday, April 4.
