Athletic Department Wins Advance Auto Parts Tailgate Sweepstakes

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The University of Alabama was recently announced the Athletic Department winner of the Advance Auto Parts Tailgate Sweepstakes. The Tailgate Sweepstakes promotion was conducted on-line during the 2007 football season and over 16,000 entries were submitted nationally. Crimson Tide fans again showed their passionate support by garnering 739,950 overall points to win the contest. As a result, the University of Alabama Athletic Department will receive a donation in the amount of $1,000 to its general fund. Advance Auto Parts is a proud corporate partner of the Crimson Tide.
