Gymnasts Greeted Fans and Signed Autographs Saturday

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- The 2008 edition of the Alabama Gymnastics team signed team photos and gave away a poster featuring the NCAA Champion duo of senior Terin Humphrey and sophomore Morgan Dennis on the Quad Saturday before the Alabama-Georgia football game.

The gymnasts greeted fans for more than an hour while the excitement of ESPN Gameday being on campus and the upcoming game buzzed around them.

Later in the day, Humphrey and Dennis were honored at midfield during the ESPN televised game, receiving their national championship rings.

Of the 15 gymnasts on this year's team, three, newcomers, Kayla Hoffman, Jennifer Iovino and Megan Mashburn, were introduced to the Crimson Tide faithful Saturday.
