Player of the Year ... the 2007 Niceville High School Player of the Year ... was a First-Team All-Area selection by The Daily News ... led the Eagles to a 22-5 record, including a 10-2 district mark ... Niceville was ranked 19th nationally by USA Today in 2007 ... was rated as the No. 125 prospect in the nation by Perfect Game Crosschecker as a senior ... participated in the 2006 World Wood Bat Association Championships, the 2006 Wilmington (N.C.) East Coast Professional Showcase and the 18-and-under WWBA National Championships and the 2006 Florida Showcase ... posted an 8-0 record with a 1.48 ERA on the mound as a junior while pitching five complete games.
