SOPHOMORE (2007):
Appeared in 17 games, including 10 starts and seven relief appearances ... posted a 3-4 record with a 5.06 ERA ... worked 58.2 innings and allowed 38 runs and 66 hits, with 20 walks and 51 strikeouts ... in 10 starting appearances, he posted a 3-3 record and 4.87 ERA, working 44.1 innings, allowing 27 runs and 49 hits with 13 walks and 37 strikeouts ... the Crimson Tide went 5-5 in his 10 starts, scoring 74 runs (7.4 runs per game), the highest run support for any starter in 2007 ... in seven relief outings, he was 0-1 with 5.79 ERA ... earned first collegiate win against Georgia State (5 IP, 4 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 0 BB, 4 K) on Feb. 11 ... tossed a career-high eight innings en route to a 9-1 win over McNeese State on March 3 ... made his first career SEC start against Tennessee on March 18 ... pitched Alabama to a 2-1 win over UAB (8 IP, 5 H, 1 ER, 0 BB, 5 K) at Regions Park on April 4, throwing only 94 pitches ... turned in his longest relief outing of the season at Auburn (6.1 IP, 7 H. 4 R, 3 ER, 1 BB, 7 K) on April 20 ... had a career-high seven strikeouts against Auburn.

Was redshirted and did not see action ... pitched for the Staunton (Va.) Braves in the Valley League in the summer of 2006, posting a 2-4 record with a 3.46 ERA in 10 appearances, including seven starts ... worked 52 innings and allowed 31 runs and 57 hits, with 32 walks and 50 strikeouts ... recorded 11 strikeouts in a seven-inning win over Harrisonburg on July 7 to earn Valley League Pitcher of the Week honors.
FRESHMAN (2005):
