Rocky Colburn
Strength and Conditioning Coach
Rocky Colburn, a 1985 UA graduate, returned as the Tide’s head strength and conditioning coach in January, 2006. In his first year with the volleyball program, Colburn brings years of strength and conditioning experience, including a stop with the Atlanta Falcons. In his role with the Falcon’s, Colurn assisted former Tide strength coach Al Miller with all facets of the team’s strength and conditioning program. A native of Cantonment, Fla., Colburn replaces Jesper Sjokvist who left to pursue a career in professional soccer. Colburn and his wife, Donna, have four sons, Luke, Riley, Ted, and Jake.
