TUSCALOOSA, Ala.-Sophomore right side hitter Liz Salstrand took a break between practices today to answer a few questions. Salstrand was the only freshman who made it into the regular lineup last season.
Q: Who is your favorite athlete?
Liz: Michael Jordan
Q: What was your favorite cartoon growing up?
Liz: Honestly I just watched whatever was on.
Q: What book are you currently reading?
Liz: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows
Q: What is your favorite movie?
Liz: Dirty Dancing
Q: What is your favorite food?
Liz: Steak and ice cream, not together but in general.
Q: Where is your favorite place to go in Tuscaloosa?
Liz: Anywhere where there is food and fun!
Q: If you could live anywhere, where would it be?
Liz: Either Salk Lake City, Utah or anywhere on the East coast.
Q: What is the last movie you saw?
Liz: Hairspray and it was great!!
Q: If you were a contestant on a game show, which one would you choose?
Liz: Either the Price is Right or Who Wants to be a Millionaire.
Q: Who is your favorite actress/actor?
Liz: Julia Roberts/Heath Ledger
Q: Which teammate would you nominate for American Idol?
Liz: It’s a tie between Crystal Hudson, Calli Johnson and myself.
Q: What sport would you play if you didn’t play volleyball?
Liz: Tee- ball. My dad was my coach when I was little and it’s the only other sport I’ve ever played.
Q: Which football position do you think you would play?
Liz: Wide receiver
Q: If you could switch places with anyone, who would it be?
Liz: Anyone famous so I could know what it is like.
Q: Why did you choose Alabama?
Liz: Because of the beautiful campus, the team and the traditions.
Q: What is your favorite Coach Green saying?
Liz: I don’t really have one.
Q: Favorite color?
Liz: I have a few: pink, purple, green , yellow and baby blue.
Q: If you could choose a super power, what would it be?
Liz: I would like to change my hair color whenever I wanted.
Q: What is your favorite animal?
Liz: Whale

Liz: What isn’t it?!?!
