Tide Volleyball Picked up by Fox Sports Southwest

TUSCALOOSA, Ala.- The University of Alabama women's volleyball team will play two televised matches this season on the Fox Sports Network, announced the league office today.
Alabama's match against Tennessee will be the first of two road contests aired by the network. The Tide takes on the Lady Vols Friday, Sept. 14 in Knoxville, Tenn. at 7:00 p.m. The second match features the Tide facing off against South Carolina in Columbia, S.C. Sunday, Nov. 18 at 1:00 p.m.
All times are Eastern and match listings are subject to change.
Alabama starts off the 2007 season in Norman, Okla. where it will compete against Oklahoma, Seton Hall and Denver. The Tide will open at home the following weekend with the Academy Sports Invitational featuring Illinios State, Sacramento State and UAB. Alabama will face off against UAB Friday, Aug. 31 at 12:30 p.m. in the CAVE.
