
Men?s Track Wraps Up Competition at the SEC Championships

“This is the toughest conference in country without a doubt,” head coach Harvey Glance said. “We scored 47 points at this meet which is not an easy task to do and I am very proud of the guys for that. Those 47 points here would have been 100 or more at any other meet in the country.”
Freshman Emmanuel Bor turned in the Tide’s top performance of the day after earning All-SEC last night in the 1500m, he finished third tonight in the 5000m. His time of 14:14.02 earned the Tide six points and was only four seconds from another All-SEC honor.
Crimson Tide athletes that have reached the a NCAA regional mark this season will compete in two weeks at the NCAA mideast regional at the University of Missouri, for a qualifying spot at the national championships in June.
