
Bama Wraps First Day of SEC Championship Competition

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -With day one of the 2007 Southeastern Conference Championships in the books,
Aldridge is currently in 11th place after five events and Kragt is 13th.
The decathlon will continue tomorrow with the 110m hurdles starting at 3:00 p.m. The men's decathlon will also compete in the discus, pole vault, javelin and 1500m tomorrow as well.
The women also open competition today with the heptathlon, without any members of the Tide team participating.
Day two of the SEC Championships begins at 10:00 a.m. with the men's hammer throw.
