Rowing Opens Home Season Saturday

TUSCALOOSA - The University of Alabama women's rowing team hosts its inaugural home meet Saturday, April 7 against Murray State on the Black Warrior River.
The Varsity 8 race will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday morning followed by Novice 8 at 8:45. The Varsity 4s will race at 9:30 a.m. followed by the Novice 4 race at 9:45 a.m. The day's events will conclude with the second Varsity 8 at 10 a.m.
The best place for fans to see all the action will be at River Road Park off of Jack Warner Parkway.
Alabama, in its first year as a varsity program, opens its first home season after three meets on the road already this Spring against Bucknell, Notre Dame, Cincinnati and SMU.
