Tide's Ronald Steele Out of Surgery

TUSCALOOSA ?? University of Alabama and All-Southeastern Conference junior point guard Ronald Steele underwent arthroscopic surgery on both knees at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Birmingham today. Dr. Lyle Cain and Dr. James Andrews repaired small cartilage defects in both knees. He is expected to make a full recovery for next season.

 

“It’s my understanding that everything went well and Ronald will begin rehab soon and that rehab will take eight to ten weeks,” said Alabama head coach Mark Gottfried following Steele’s late afternoon surgery.
