Get to Know Women?s Tennis Player Andrea Brenes

Tuscaloosa, Ala.- As one of the four veterans on the squad, junior Andrea Brenes has embraced her role as an opportunity to teach the freshmen what Alabama tennis is all about. Brenes states "Alabama tennis is about working hard. We come to practice everyday prepared to work 110 percent for our team because that is how we are going to win matches this season." \
A native of Costa Rica, Andrea says she was relieved how big tennis was in the Tuscaloosa community. In San Jose, tennis is not taken very seriously by the community and one day she hopes to return home to promote tennis and make it as popular as it is here.
