CLEMSON, S.C..- The University of Alabama volleyball team arrived in Clemson, S.C. yesterday in preparation for the 2007 Division I NCAA Volleyball Tournament. The Crimson Tide spent its first day in Clemson, S.C. touring the city and getting in a practice before the start of the tournament.
"I thought it was a good day for the Tide," said Alabama head coach Judy Green." "I thought we had an intense practice today and we got a feel for the arena we are playing in. I think we are all very well aware that we are going to have to bring our "A" game when we play tomorrow night."
The Tide, along with Clemson, UCLA and Alabama A&M, practiced for an hour and a half at Jervey Athletic Center today. The Tide used the time to get used to its new surroundings and work out some last minute kinks before the tournament.
"I really liked the look of our team today and they definitely have a different look in their eye than they did two weeks ago," said Green. "It is certainly fun to be playing volleyball the last week in November."
