COLLEGIATE HIGHLIGHTS:
2006-07 (Junior): 
- Transferred to Alabama from Panola JC (in Carthage, Texas) for his junior season in 2006-07
- Started in 20 of Alabama’s 32 games (played in all 32) in 2006-07
- Averaged 12.6 points and 4.6 rebounds
- In the final game of the 2007 season, at UMass in the 1st round of the NIT, scored season-best 24 points, going perfect 7-7 at the free throw line, 6-17 from the field and 5-11 from 3-point range
- Had a double double of 13 points and 10 rebounds against Xavier in the championship game to help UA win the Paradise Jam in November 2006
- Scored 20 or more points four times in 2006-07, including 24 at UMass, 22 against Louisiana Monroe and 21 against both Lipscomb and Vanderbilt
- Scored in double digits in 25 games, including 11 of his last 12 games
- Had 10 rebounds in two games, against Xavier and at Mississippi State
- Had eight dunks in 2006-07
- Finished T-11th in SEC (league games) in steals and 13th in 3-point field goal percentages
At Panola Junior College:
- Averaged 18.4 points at Panola in 2006, his sophomore year
- Led the nation (JUCO) in steals
- Ranked third in the region in scoring in 2006
- Made 93 three-point shots in 22 games his sophomore season, an average of 4.2 treys per game
- Made 94 percent of his free throws in 2006
- Averaged 4.4 steals per game in 2006
- All-Region XIV, 2nd Team in 2006
- Panola’s Athlete of the Year
- Region XIV All-Star (played against the Division I National All-Stars in the National Junior College Athletics Association All-Star Classic in 2006

PERSONAL INFORMATION:
- Majoring in human environmental sciences
- Starting when he was 9, played piano for his grandmother’s gospel singing group and travelled around the country touring
- Remarkable gift for playing the piano completely by ear
- Was once so shy that when his high school had a coaching change, he was too shy to tell the new coach he wanted to play so he sat the year out and was a team manager
- Has a younger brother, Don Riley also plays college basketball
- Parents are Freddie and Betty Riley
