COLLEGIATE HIGHLIGHTS:
- 2006-2007 (Junior):
- Played in four games in 2006-07
- Scored two points against Texas Southern, making two of two free throws attempted
- Had an assist and a blcok in the Coppin State game
- Was placed on athletic scholarship for the spring 2007 semester
- Transferred to Alabama from Sewanee
- A redshirt at UA in 2005-06 as a transfer
- Averaged 1.1 points and 1.2 rebounds as a freshman, playing in 20 games at Sewanee in 2003-04 and 1.1 points and 1.3 rebounds playing in 20 games at Sewanee in 2004-05
PREP HIGHLIGHTS:
- 2003 graduate of Bradshaw High School
- Team co-captain his senior season
- Averaged 8.0 points per game and 6.6 rebounds per game his senior season
- Led Bradshaw to its first area title in 20 years and first state ranking
- All-Area, Honorable Mention in 2003
- Coached by Bruce Hamilton
- Competed in the Alabama Sports Fesitval with Shoals Blues and Florence Bruins
PERSONAL INFORMATION:
- A history major with a minor in finance at UA
- Member Phi Gamma Delta Fraternity
- His father, Johnny Dill, played guard at UA & lettered in 1973-74-75; UA won SEC in 1974 & 1975, was ranked in Top 10 in 1975 and went to NIT Final Four in 1973
- Is first cousin to UA senior golfer, Gator Todd, making former UA & NFL quarterback Richard Todd his uncle; John & Gator’s mothers are sisters, and the families live by one another in Florence
- Former UA teammate Jermareo Davidson nicknamed him “The Big Dill”
- Has a sister, Janie, also a UA student
- Parents are Johnny and Jane Dill
- Born June 2, 1985
