
Season Tickets Remain for 2007 Crimson Tide Baseball Season

TUSCALOOSA, Alabama -- The University of Alabama announced today that season tickets are still available for the upcoming 2007 baseball season at Sewell-Thomas Stadium.
All lower chairback seats are sold out, but a limited number of season tickets do remain for the upper chairbacks. Tickets are also available in the upper grandstand and left field bleacher sections.
Remaining tickets are priced at $100 (upper chairbacks) and $75 (upper grandstand and bleachers) per seat. The Crimson Tide also offers three special season ticket packages for UA faculty and staff, senior citizens and families. All faculty/staff tickets are $72, while senior citizen tickets are $48 each. The Crimson Tide also has a family four-pack for $225.
Single-game tickets will go on sale, Monday, February 5, 2007. Single-game tickets are priced at $5 for adults and $3 (18 and under).
Alabama won the 2006 SEC Championship with a 44-21 overall record and 20-10 mark in SEC play. The Crimson Tide hosted and won the 2006 NCAA Tuscaloosa Regional and hosted No. 5 North Carolina in 2006 NCAA Super Regional at Sewell-Thomas Stadium.
The Crimson Tide set the single-game attendance record last year when 6,821 fans packed The Joe on Saturday, April 1 as Alabama beat No. 1 Mississippi State, 5-4.
Alabama will play 38 home games during the 2007 season. The schedule includes weekend non-conference series with Georgia State, Villanova, Canisius, McNeese State and Nebraska. The Crimson Tide will also play five weekend SEC series against Tennessee, LSU, Georgia, South Carolina and Arkansas.
The Crimson Tide opens the 2007 season with a three-game series against Georgia State at Sewell-Thomas Stadium. The season opener is Friday, Feb. 9 at 6:30 p.m. (CST).
