
Women?s Tennis Concludes Play at the Virginia Invitational

Senior Mari Muller earned her first win of the weekend in the top flight defeating Viktoria Konstantinova of VCU, 7-5, 6-4.
"I was really proud of Mari today," said head coach Jenny Mainz of her lone senior. "She was strong on the third day of competition. She came out excited to play and it permeated down through the rest of the team. She led on and off the court and worked hard for each point."

Coach Mainz was pleased with the way the team came out on the last day ready to play. "This weekend we developed as a team and got better every day," she stated. "This was a positive experience for us and a productive weekend."
The women's tennis team will be on the road next weekend to compete in their first dual match of the 2007 season, playing
