Jermareo Davidson Makes Senior CLASS Top 30

The award is presented annually, since 2002, to a senior player who excels both on and off the basketball court. CLASS is an acronym for Celebrating Loyalty and Achievement for Staying in School. Finalist will be selected based on personal qualities that “define a complete student-athlete” in the categories of classroom, character and community as well as the candidate’s performance and “team loyalty” on the court. A national media committee will select 10 finalists in February and those 10 names will be placed on a ballot in March. Fan balloting will be coupled with votes from coaches and media to determine the winner. The winner is announced at the NCAA Final Four.
Davidson is the only candidate from the Southeastern Conference.
