
Crimson Tide Baseball Team Set to Hold First Two Scrimmages

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- The No. 24 ranked University of Alabama baseball will hold its first two intrasquad games of the 2007 preseason this Thursday, Jan. 18 and Friday, Jan. 19 at Sewell-Thomas Stadium.
The Crimson Tide will practice at 2 p.m. with the scrimmages set to begin at approximately 3:30 p.m. each day. All intrasquad games are free and open to the general public.
Alabama head coach Jim Wells is planning on 11 intrasquad games leading up to the 2007 season opener against Georgia State Friday, Feb. 9. The remaining intrasquad dates will be announced at a later time.
