Aaron McDaniel Undergoes Knee Surgery, Will Miss Remainder of Season

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - University of Alabama head football coach Mike Shula announced Monday that sophomore flanker Aaron McDaniel (Fort Payne, Alabama/Fort Payne HS) will miss the remainder of the season due to a knee injury.

McDaniel suffered the injury to his left knee during Sunday evening's practice and underwent successful surgery earlier this afternoon at DCH Medical Center in Tuscaloosa. While McDaniel will miss approximately six months of action due to the injury, he is expected to make a full recovery.
