
Volleyball Falls to Auburn Friday

The Alabama Volleyball team fell to cross-state rival Auburn 3-0 Friday night, playing in Beard-Eaves Memorial Coliseum.
For the Crimson Tide it was the first loss to the Tigers since 1999. Alabama moves to 7-5 overall and 2-1 in the Southeastern Conference while Auburn is now 10-5 and 2-2 in the SEC. In the 2000 decade, Alabama is now 12-1. It was the first time Auburn volleyball played in Beard-Eaves in 20 years.
Junior Crystal Hudson led the Tide with 13 kills and a .296 average. Junior Brigitte Slack came away with 32 assists while junior Bridget Fuentez and junior Megan Hudson has 14 digs a piece.
Alabama finishes off its first SEC road trip Sunday at Florida where it will face the No. 10 Gators.
