Prep: Davis, was the first prep player to commit to Alabama for the 2006 signing class. Davis was a 5A All-State honoree by the Alabama Sports Writers Assn. He was a four-year starter and in his varsity career had over 400 career tackles. This past season he earned All-State honors after recording 126 tackles and three interceptions. Davis was named Shelby County's Defensive Player of the Year. Davis was a teammate at Briarwood with current Tider players Tim and Simeon Castille.
