Prep: Spartan star defensive back, wide receiver, kick returner Jake Jones was an All-State and Super 12 selections have been made by the Alabama Sports Writers Association for the 2005 football season. He recorded 34 tackles and three interceptions and had over 200 yards receiving and 400 yards on punt returns. He joins best friends Andy Davis, David Ross and Charlie Higgenbotham as Tide signees. His father, Joey Jones, was a star wide receiver for Alabama from 1980-83.
