2006 (Freshman): Appeared in 10 games with seven tackles. He had two tackles against Arkansas, Duke and Florida International. He also had one tackle against Louisiana Monroe. He played a total of 130 snaps with a season-high 21 against Florida International. He played 10 or more snaps eight times.
Prep: As a prep senior, Burnthall racked-up 63 tackles, 13 pass break-ups and three interceptions from his strong safety spot. He returned two interceptions for touchdowns.
Personal: The son of Michael and Michelle Burnthall, he has one brother, Brent. Born 3-7-87. He is in pre-major studies.
