Former University of Alabama golfer Jason Bohn is competing in his first Masters tournament this week. Jason will tee off today at 11:24 CT and is paired today with John Daly and Carl Peterson.
Bohn got his PGA Tour card in 2004 after playing on the Canadian PGA Tour where he won the 2000 Canadian PGA Shell Payless Open and the 2001 Canadian PGA Bayer Championship...He won the Chattanooga Classic in 2003 while playing on the Nationwide Tour.....He was on Alabama’s 1991-1992 and 1992-1993 golf teams but chose to “retire” from the team when, on November 1, 1992 he aced a Million Dollar Hole in One Contest at the University’s course. (He bought 10 balls for a dollar a ball and you had to hit within six feet of a circle. His 7th shot made the mark and he was one of 60 semifinalists. Everyone then hit one ball and the 12 closest, which included Bohn, advanced to the finals. He moved to a new hole, had one ball (one chance) and made the hole in one to win the million dollars. Because of NCAA rules, he had to choose between taking the million dollars or staying on the team....)
