Softball Alumni Weekend Kicks Off with Friday Alumni Game

The Crimson Tide’s season long 10th Anniversary celebration culminates this weekend as the Crimson Tide hosts the eight-ranked Georgia Bulldogs on Alumni weekend. The celebration kicks off on Friday night with an Alumni Game at the UA Softball Stadium. Fans are welcome to join as first pitch is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. The game will pit two alumni teams, the Crimson and the White while the 2006 team will participate as coaches and umpires.
Returning to the Capstone will be seven different All-Americans who totaled 15 All-American honors, 17 SEC Tournament Champion team members, 15 members of College World Series teams, four Academic All-Americans and an Olympic Gold Medalist to name a few.
