As part of “Read Across America Week”, members of the University of Alabama women’s tennis team visited Flatwoods Elementary School last week. Players donated their time prior to the beginning of the Southeastern Conference tennis schedule to read to local students.
“It is nice to have girls on our team who are eager to donate their time and effort to community service projects,” Alabama head coach Jenny Mainz said. “The Tuscaloosa community is so supportive of us and we want to do all we can to return the favor.”
