
Praytor Tabbed SEC Player of the Week

Crimson Tide outfielder Jordan Praytor has been named this week’s SEC Player of the Week as announced by the league office today.
Praytor recorded a .538 batting average (7-13) with three walks against some of the top competition in the country at the Judi Garman Classic. She also accounted for four runs while also driving in four, one of which was the game-winner against Notre Dame. Praytor posted a .923 slugging percentage which included a home run and two doubles. She had an on-base percentage of .625, successfully reaching base in all five games in the tournament. Praytor was perfect in the field making five putouts and recording an assist from her left field position.
The honor is the first in her career and the fifth for an Alabama player this season.
In addition to this week, Stephanie VanBrakle was named Pitcher of the Week on March 14 and February 20, while sophomore Dani Woods was named Player of the Week a week earlier on February 13. Brittany Rogers was named Freshman of the Week on March 14 as well. Alabama has now garnered 37 all-time SEC Weekly honors, a league high.
