Softball Washed Out at NFCA Leadoff Classic

While the seventh ranked Alabama softball team was able to sweep through first day competition at the prestigious NFCA Leadoff Classic, the Tide was not able to overcome Mother Nature.

All Sunday games were cancelled due to heavy rains all day Saturday and early Sunday morning in the Columbus, Georgia area.

Alabama returns home this weekend to host the Crimson Classic beginning Friday, March 3. Tickets for the tournament and for the season are still available and fans can purchase them by calling 205.348.BAMA (2262) or by visiting www.rolltide.com.
