2006: Friedman handled the kickoff chores in place for the injured Jamie Christensen through the first three games of the season. He tallied 11 kickoffs, including one touchback.
Prep: In his final two years at UMS-Wright he made 14 field goals, 109-115 PAT and had 112 touchbacks on kickoffs. He helped lead his team to the 2002 4A State Championship. All-State honorable mention and second team All-Region selection.
Personal: Son of Frank and Julie Friedman. Has two brothers, Christopher and Richard. Born 1-27-87. His mother, Julie, and uncle, Bobby Hall, each graduated from the University of Alabama. His grandparents Bobby and Harriot Hall each attended the UA Dental School. His grandfather, Bobby, played football at the University of Georgia. His father, Frank, played basketball at Washington and Lee University. His cousin, Charlie Skalaski, played football at the University of Florida.
