Alabama Swimming and Diving Inks 11 in Early Signing Period

The Alabama Swimming and Diving team has signed six women and five men to national letters of intent for the 2007-08 season during the early signing period according to Crimson Tide head coach Eric McIlquham.
"We have put together a very strong class on both the men and women's side of the slate," McIlquham said. "We have added not only to our talent but our over all depth as well. As a staff we went after the best talent available and we're excited about the potential of this class."
On the women's side, the Tide signed four swimmers and two divers. The men signed five swimmers. Divers Lauren Dunn (San Diego, Calif./Escondido Charter HS) and Kasie Talon (Dickinson, Texas/Dickinson HS) will join swimmers Katie Black (Las Vegas, Nev./Coranado HS), Kate Gray (Tuscaloosa, Ala./Tuscaloosa County HS), Jenna Montgomery (Louisville, Ky./Dupont Manual HS) and Paige Troyan (Cincinnati, Ohio/King's HS).
The men's team signed Daniel Armstrong (Madison, Ala./Bob Jones HS), Catalin Cosma (Arad, Romania), James Edwards (Memphis, Tenn./Christian Brothers HS), Steven Loccisano (Fredericksburg, Va./Riverbend HS) and Daniel Rozick (College, Penn./State College Area HS).
