Tide Climbs One Spot in Both Basketball Polls

TUSCALOOSA ?? The University of Alabama basketball team has climbed a spot in both polls this week. In the Associated Press rankings, Alabama moved from No. 11 to a tie with Duke at No. 10. Alabama climbed from No. 12 to No. 11 in the ESPN/USA Today Coaches poll.

 

The Crimson Tide, 1-0, opened the season Friday, November 10, with a 96-65 win against Jackson State in Tuscaloosa. Game two of the season finds Alabama traveling to the U.S. Virgin Islands where it will play in the November 17-20 Paradise Jam. Alabama opens the tournament on Friday at noon CT with its game against Middle Tennessee.
