“This gives the players an opportunity to play with officials under game-type circumstances,” said
The Crimson and White scrimmage is presented like a regular game. However, in this year’s version, there will be two 24-minute games played, with the games divided into 12 minute halves. After the first game is complete, the coaches and players will briefly go to the locker room, as they would at the half at a regular home game. Then they’ll return to play the second game, with the teams divided differently for game two.
In the first scrimmage, the Crimson Team will consist of Ronald Steele, Mikhail Torrance, Mykal Riley, Richard Hendrix, Yamene Coleman, Avery Jukes and Greg Cage. The White Team will include Brandon Hollinger, Verice Cloyd, Alonzo Gee, Demetrius Jemison, Jermareo Davidson, John Dill, Justin Tubbs and Kyle Sellers. In the second game, the Crimson Team will be Steele, Hollinger, Gee, Riley, Davidson, Hendrix and Coleman; the White Team will be Torrance, Tubbs, Cloyd, Jukes, Jemison, Dill, Cage and Sellers.
