Crimson Tide Softball To Host Practice Party

Fresh off clinching a berth in the 2005 Women’s College World Series, the University of Alabama softball team will host a Practice Party on Monday at 6:00 p.m. at the UA Softball Complex.
“It’s an opportunity for the fans to see the team one more time and vice versa,” said Alabama head coach Patrick Murphy. “We really appreciate all the support our fans have given us all season and we want to give them the opportunity to visit with the team once more.”
The party is open to all friends, family and media.
The team will depart from Houston, Texas on Sunday and is scheduled to arrive in Birmingham at approximately 12:05 p.m. The team will arrive in Tuscaloosa at the UA Softball Complex at approximately 1:30 p.m.
The Crimson Tide will leave for Oklahoma City and the WCWS on Tuesday where it will begin play against the Texas Longhorns on Thursday at 8:30 p.m. in a game that will be televised live on ESPN2.
