Men's Track Continues Successful Outing at SEC Championships

The University of Alabama men’s track and field team continued its successful run in the SEC Championships this weekend in Nashville, Tennessee.
The Crimson Tide currently sits in sixth place with 22 points, two points behind fifth place Mississippi State.
Gabe Warren jumped a personal best 7’00.25” in the high jump, finishing third, collecting six points and adding to the Tide’s NCAA Regional Qualifying marks.
Charlie Coleman recorded a personal best jump in the long jump of 24’03.50”, qualifying for the NCAA Regional Championships.
Stephen Boozer picked up two points in the discus for the Tide, finishing seventh with a throw of 171’04.00” an NCAA Regional Qualifying mark.
Chauncey Harris ran an NCAA Regional qualifying 21.14 in the 200m. LeMual Clayborn posted a time of 46.97 in the 400m, qualifying for the NCAA Regional championships. It was also a personal best time for Clayborn.
Titus Koeh qualified for the finals of the 1,500m with a NCAA Regional qualifying time of 3:47.25.
Marcus Siwemuke posted a personal best time of 14.34 in the 110m hurdles.
Bama will look to continue its success tomorrow, the final day of the championships.
