
Tide Men's Track Heads to Clemson Invitational

The University of Alabama men’s track and field team will look to continue its hot streak this weekend as the team heads to Clemson, S.C. for the Clemson Invitational.
Alabama is coming off a meet where Tide athletes posted three NCAA Regional Qualifying marks and came away with six event championships and seven personal bests at the Ole Miss Invitational last weekend.
So far this season, Alabama has posted seven NCAA Regional Qualifying marks. Chauncey Harris has qualified in the 100m, Peter Etoot in the 1,500m, Augustus Maiyo in the 5k, Gabe Warren in the high jump, Stephen Boozer in the discus, the Tide’s 4x100m relay team and the 4x400m relay team.
Events are scheduled to get underway at the Rock Norman Track and Field Complex at 11:15 a.m. (ET) with the men’s hammer throw, javelin and long jump. The final men’s event of the day will be the 4x400m relay beginning at approximately 6:00 p.m. (ET).
