2005 SEC Women's Tennis Tournament Information
The 2005 SEC Women's Tennis Tournament is coming to the University of Alabama for the first time since 1992. The tournament will begin on Thursday, April 21 and run through Sunday, April 24. The tournament will be played at the UA Tennis Complex which features 12 lighted courts and is in its first year as the home of Alabama Tennis. All 12 institutions will compete during the championship weekend to see who will be crowned 2005 SEC Champions.
Seedings and Match Times
Seeds for the 2005 SEC Women's Tennis Tournament will be based on regular season standings and released on April 16 by the SEC office.
Tickets
Pre-sales are limited to tournament booklets only. The tournament booklet is good for admission all 4 days of competition. Prices for the booklet are as follows:
Adult Tournament Book $20.00
Youth Tournament Book $10.00 (15 & under)
Single day tickets can be purchased at the venue the days of the tournament. The ticket booth will be open 1 hour prior to the first match of each day. Daily ticket prices are as follows:
Adult Daily Ticket $ 7.00
Youth Daily Ticket $ 3.00 (15 & under)
College Students Free w/ college ID
Questions pertaining to ticket purchases or procedures should be directed to the Ticket Office at 205/348-BAMA.
Each institution is responsible for submitting a pass list for those parents that attend the tournament. The school will be billed later for only the tickets that were used.

All media wishing to cover this year's SEC Women's Tennis Tournament should contact Jeff Dunnavant at 205-348-6084 or jdunnavant@ia.ua.edu. There will be a one-time satellite feed on April 24. Time and coordinates will be determined at a later date. Live scoring of this year's SEC Women's Tennis Tournament will be available at http://www.rolltide.com/ and http://www.secsports.com/. Players and coaches will be available at the media's request following each match.
Practice Times
Courts will be available for practice on Wednesday, April 20. Practice times will be assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis beginning on Saturday, April 16.
