
Men's Track Heads to Prestigious Drake Relays

The University of Alabama men’s track and field team hits the road again this weekend as the team travels north to Des Moines, Iowa for the prestigious Drake Relays.
The Tide will be looking to defend its 4xMile relay title it claimed last year at the meet.
So far this season, the Tide has posted NCAA Regional qualifying times in 10 events including both the 4x100m and 4x400m relays. Chauncey Harris has qualified for both the 100m and 200m events. Michael Cooley and LeMual Clayborn both in the 400m; Peter Etoot in the 1,500m; Augustus Maiyo in the 5k; Curtis McBride in the 400m hurdles; Gabe Warren in the high jump and Stephen Boozer in the discus.
The relays are scheduled to begin Friday at 8:00 a.m. and the meet will conclude on Saturday at 6:00 p.m. with the men’s 4x400m relay.
