Tide Golfers Check in at No. 25 in GCAA Rankings

TUSCALOOSA – The University of Alabama golf team has checked into the Top 25 for the first time this season. Alabama, previously receiving votes for most of the season, finally broke in and is ranked No. 25 in the Golf Coaches Association of America/Bridgestone Coaches Poll released on Friday, March 25.
The poll is voted on by a panel of head coaches at Division I institutions.
There was no change in the top four from the previous poll two weeks ago as Oklahoma State remains the No. 1 ranked college golf team in the country. Georgia Tech is No. 2, Georgia No. 3 and New Mexico is No. 4. UNLV moved from No. 15 up to the No. 5 spot. The rest of the top 25 includes No. 6 Florida, No. 7 Arizona State, No. 8 Wake Forest, No. 9 Brigham Young, No. 10 Southern California, No. 11 Auburn, No. 12 TCU, No. 13 UCLA, No. 14 Duke, No. 15 Tennessee, No. 16 Michigan State, No. 17 Augusta State, No. 18 Texas, No. 19 Clemson, No. 20 South Carolina, No. 21 Kentucky, No. 22 Minnesota, No. 23 Arizona, No. 24 Georgia State and No. 25 Alabama.
The next rankings will be released on April 8.
