CTSM Announces 2005 Bama Baseball Television Slate

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- The University of Alabama, along with its media rights holder, Crimson Tide Sports Marketing, announced today that 16 Crimson Tide baseball games will be aired this spring.
The Alabama Cable Network will air nine games live this season, beginning with the Crimson Tide's Mar. 2 game against Samford in Tuscaloosa. The Alabama-Samford game will be the only midweek afternoon game of the 2005 season.
The Business Person's Special will begin at 3 p.m. (CT) and give fans plenty of time to catch the 2005 men's basketball home finale with the arch-rival Auburn Tigers at 7 p.m. at Coleman Coliseum.
ACN will also televise games against Birmingham Southern (March 9), Jacksonville State (March 23), LSU (April 1-3), Georgia (April 29 and May 1) and UAB (May 4). The Alabama-LSU game on Saturday, April 2 has been moved to a 6 p.m. (CT) start to accommodate the live broadcast.
Comcast Sports Southeast (CSS) will televise three home games this season, including South Carolina (April 22 and April 24) and Arkansas (May 15). CSS will also televise two Alabama road games, at Vanderbilt (March 26) and at Auburn (May 22).
The Crimson Tide will also make two appearances on the "SEC Baseball Game of the Week" aired live by FOX Sports Net South. Alabama will make back-to-back appearances on FSN against at Florida (April 16) and South Carolina (April 23). Both games will begin at 3 p.m. (CT).
