Crimson Tide fans will get their first opportunity to see the 2005-06 softball team in action this weekend as the team hosts the first of two consecutive Fall Brawls.
Bama will play two games this weekend and will follow it up with two games next weekend in the Fall Brawl II.
"We've got four games, two doubleheaders, and we'll have four starting pitchers," said Murphy. "Definitely everybody will play, everybody will start. We don't want to see them in a mop up roll, I want to see them when the pressure is on and see how they respond because you never really know until they get in there and it's 2-2 in the seventh."
Alabama will play host to Wallace-Dothan Community College and Wallace-Hanceville Community College on Saturday. Wallace-Dothan and Wallace-Hanceville will get the action started at 12:00 p.m. Saturday followed by Alabama-Wallace-Dothan at 2:00 p.m. Alabama-Wallace-Hanceville will close out the action at 4:00 p.m.
All games will be played at the UA Softball Complex and admission is free. Fans can also tune into WVUA 90.7 FM where Jacob Cohen will call the play by play. Live stats and audio will also be available at http://www.rolltide.com/.
