Alabama's Joseph Jung was eliminated Thursday in the first round of the Polo Ralph Lauren All-American Championships.
Jung, the No. 32-ranked player in the nation, lost to SEC rival Matt Roberts of Arkansas in the opening round, 7-5, 6-0.
"It's been a little bit of a disappointing week for us," Alabama head coach Billy Pate said. "We have to get tougher and learn how to capitalize on our opponents mistakes better come the spring season."
Jung attempted to rebound in the consolation draw Thursday afternoon but lost to Matko Maravic, 7-5, 7-6(6).
