Alabama Women to Hold Crimson & White Scrimmage Saturday

Head coach Stephany Smith will make her debut on the sidelines for Crimson Tide basketball fans on Saturday, Oct. 29, at the team’s Crimson & White scrimmage. The intrasquad scrimmage will be played in the CAVE in the Coleman Coliseum and will begin at 6:30 after the conclusion of the Alabama-Utah State football game.

The Crimson Tide will complete a warm-up session prior to breaking into teams and competing in the scrimmage. Admission to the event will be free.

Smith’s first Crimson Tide team will open the season with an exhibition match-up with West Alabama on Saturday, Nov. 5. The contest will be played in the CAVE and will begin at 2 p.m.

Alabama’s first regular season game will be against Washington on Friday, Nov. 18. The contest is scheduled to be the first game in the newly renovated Coleman Coliseum.
