For the third straight week, The University of Alabama men’s track and field team hits the road, this time traveling to Clemson, South Carolina for the Clemson Heptathlon/Pentathlon Championships.
Head coach Harvey Glance has been pleased with what he’s seen from his young team so far this season, but he’s ready to see some of them take the next step and achieve some NCAA qualifying marks.
“I’d like to get some qualifying marks out of this meet,” said Glance. “I think Keith Baker, Chauncey Harris and Gabe Warren are all in a good spot to do that.”
So far this season, the Crimson Tide has recorded five individual championships and posted eight personal best times and marks.
The meet is scheduled to begin on Friday at 4:00 p.m. (CT).
