TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- The University of Alabama football team wrapped up its preparation for the Saturday's game against the South Carolina Gamecocks with a 75-minute workout Thursday afternoon.
"We had a good day today," Alabama head coach Mike Shula said. "We did some good things on both sides of the football. Marc (Guillon) had another good day. The receivers had a good day today. Spencer (Pennington) got more reps today and he did a good job."
Shula also said that freshman cornerback Simeon Castille would likely play Saturday, "they would keep a close eye on him" throughout the game.
Alabama and South Carolina will kickoff at 5:01 p.m. (CT) from Bryant-Denny Stadium and the game will be nationally televised by espn2.
