TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The head football coaches' suite at The University of Alabama's new football facility will get a new name Friday afternoon.
The office suite will be named The George and Patsy Bouloukos Suite in honor of the mother and father-in-law of Birmingham Attorney Archie Lamb. Lamb made a $2 million gift to the Crimson Tradition Fund in honor of George and Patsy's "lifetime support of Crimson Tide athletics".
"We are honored that Archie Lamb has made this generous donation to the Crimson Tradition Fund." said Athletics Director Mal Moore. "This is the first office suite in our new facility to be named and we are so grateful to the Lamb family for their support.
"Donations to the Crimson Tradition Fund have been vital to our campaign to provide the very best facilities for our student-athletes, coaches and administrators."
Lamb is a Birmingham resident and founder of The Law Offices of Archie Lamb.
The naming ceremony, with family, Crimson Tradition Fund Executive Committee members and University of Alabama Board of Trustees members, will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The ceremony will be held in the recruiting room of the football complex.
