2006 (Freshman): Earned his first career start against Vanderbilt in the second game of the season. Finished with eight starts at middle linebacker and played a total of 521 snaps. Hall ended the season third on the team with 71 tackles. He led the squad with 10.5 tackles for a loss to go along with two sacks, one pass breakup and two fumble recoveries. He had eight games with five or more tackles and recorded at least two tackles in all 12 games. He also had a tackle for a loss in nine of the 12 games. He tallied a career-high 13 tackles with six solo stops and one tackle for a loss against Mississippi State. He followed with a team-high nine tackles at LSU. He was named SEC Freshman of the Week on Oct. 16 after posting eight tackles, including two tackles for a loss against Ole Miss. He recovered a fumble and returned it 50 yards for his first career touchdown at Florida. He also tied for the team lead with a career-high seven tackles against the Gators. He followed with a seven-tackle performance against Duke. Hall had six tackles with two going for a loss of five yards at Tennessee. He tallied three tackles, one sack and a fumble recovery in the season opener against Hawaii. He recorded five tackles against both Louisiana Monroe and Auburn. In the first road game at Arkansas, he had three tackles with 1.5 tackles for a loss and one sack for seven yards. He played 40 or more snaps in seven games with a season-high 68 snaps at Tennessee. He was named the Alabama Defensive Player of the Week for the Ole Miss game.
2005 Redshirted
Prep: As a prep senior, he accounted for 142 tackles, four sacks, four interceptions and two forced fumbles. He also rushed for 1,052 yards and 12 TDs. As a junior, he rushed for 798 yards and 13 touchdowns on 92 carries from his halfback spot. On the defensive side, he had 89 solo tackles, 62 assists, 16 tackles for loss, two interceptions and six sacks.
Personal: Son of Prince and LaQurla Hall. Has two brothers, Deshawn and Keith and a sister, Princess. Born 11-21-86. He is in pre-major studies.
