Antoine Pettway is Named WBA Rookie of the Year

Former University of Alabama guard Antoine Pettway was selected as the World Basketball Association's "Rookie of the Year." The 6-0 guard of the Kentucky Reach helped lead his team to an 11-9 record and averaged 4.6 assists a game and 12. 7 points per game. His assists averaged ranked second in the league and he ranked 14th in the league in scoring.
Pettway graduated from Alabama in May 2004 and immediately joined the Kentucky Reach of the fledgling league. In addition to being voted Rookie of the Year, Pettway was named to the 2nd Team All-WBA All-Star team.
